My First RC car.

This car was my first try on an RC car.

To build this was very interesting. You will learn something about the technics. It was nice to build this.

I am not sure how long it took me to build this but I know it was in 2004/2005.

The kit was without any controller or servos. So I also had to buy the controller. The controller came with a cristal and all the needed servos.

I did not use it a lot. Because the controller is eating through batteries like crazy. Also, the battery in the car is good for around 20-25min. After that, it needs quite some time to charge again.

The car is a four-wheel drive and rides great. It also has a working suspension. You can control the car very well. And I was surprised about the speed the car could do.

Conclusion.

It is nice to build something different for a change. A nice experience. At this moment, I am not sure if I would build something like this again. The build itself is nice. But as I already mentioned, the batteries are a big letdown.

I will let you into a secret. In 2012-2013 I started the build of another RC car. This one has a fuel engine. So far, I did not finish the build on it. And I am not sure if I will ever finish it. The main reason is, that I don’t really have a place where I could ride the car. So I am not sure about the future of that car. Maybe I will just finish the build and see what will happen.
