Studebaker 1953 – Part 1

The new project is on the table. It is the Studebaker 1953 from AMT.

This is the first time in many years, that I have built something from this brand. I am not sure about the quality. I had read mixed things about it, but we will see how things go.

The color suggestions are very limited. So it is up to me to see what colors I will use. For this build, I will try to keep track of what color I will use. So that later in my model list I can tell what I had used.

The building instructions are also different. So it will be a challenge. Maybe also a bit of a puzzle. We will see. I had a quick look at the sprues, but I already can see that not all the parts are “clean”. It looks like that during the build, I need to remove some extra plastic of some parts.

This model has three build suggestions. The standard model, a custom model, and the drag racer. I have decided that I will build the drag racer. It is something different for a change.
