Ford Mustang – Part 1
Ford Mustang – Part 1
The next project is on my workbench. It is the Ford Mustang from Lego. I bought this in November 2022 during the black Friday deals. This is one of the models in the Lego Expert/Iconc series. As far as I know, this model is almost out of production, so I am lucky to get it still. There are still two more old models, but those are already out of production. If you search the internet, you can still find them, but they cost more than the original price. So for now, I just stick with what I have and can get.
Details
The model number is 10265. It has 1471 pieces. The length will be 34cm. It has 313 building steps. This is for the standard model. If you want to make the hotrod/dragster model, then there are an additional 46 building steps. The scale for this model, I had noted down as 1:10. All the other Lego models I gave it the scale 1:14, but I think that this is not correct. The models are a little bit bigger than 1:14. I will also change this for the other models.
I am not sure, but I think I will just build the standard model, and maybe some additional parts, but I am not sure if I will place them on the model. We will see.
I will build this the same as the other two Lego cars I had built. Every time I have time for it, I will do around 12-15 building steps. Because, if I sit down and start building, there is a big change that I am not able to stop and will just continue. In that case, I think I will be finished in 5-6 hours. But by building 12-15 building steps per time, I will take longer to finish it and enjoy it more.
